Managing Menopause Symptoms
Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years. It is a time of significant hormonal changes, as the ovaries gradually produce fewer hormones like estrogen and progesterone. While menopause can be challenging for many women, there are many options available to manage the symptoms.
At Body Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness, we believe in starting this journey with a holistic approach to menopause care, focusing on the four pillars of life: exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management. These pillars play a vital role in improving hormonal balance and overall well-being.
Menopause is a unique journey for every woman. It is not to be feared, but rather embraced as the next phase in life.
Menopause management should be looked at as a whole body treatment and as no two women experience the same symptoms the way they manage them will also be different. Reach out today and let’s talk.

For several days I was experiencing extreme shooting pain in my neck that pulsed up behind my ear into my jaw area coupled with constant pain of a pinched nerve in my neck that literally caused my arm to twitch with each movement of my head. I had mentioned to a friend the pain I was in. Given the positive results she shared and the relief she found prompted me to request a call with Michelle B.
Michelle had attempted to do a video call; my computer was not cooperating so that resulted in a telephone call. Michelle proceeded to ask many questions to ascertain my situation and then walked me through a series of moves to see if I had any relief. I was astonished and pleasantly surprised that I had some relief from the shooting pain within 10 minutes as Michelle coached me through several specific movements and exercises.
After 3 days of faithfully doing the prescribed exercises I was pain free!!! I have incorporated this regimen into my daily routine as I have degenerative disk in my neck and mild arthritis.

I want to take a moment to thank you. My leg and tush has not bothered me since about an hour after you provided guidance to me today. You are such a god-sent angel to me. After journaling tonight, I realize how close I was to giving up on living before you showed and taught me about the mind-body connection. My son made a comment earlier tonight that he was so grateful that I had stopped asking to die because of my pain. I don’t remember ever saying that but I know I felt that way. By working with you and the Curable App, I am wanting and starting to live again. I can never thank you enough. Please please never stop reaching out to people like me that are dealing with chronic pain, you will never know who you will save next. God Bless You, my saving Angel.
